1. Information We Collect

Google Account Data – When you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture URL. This is used solely for authentication and account management.
Resume Information – Any professional data you enter (work history, education, skills, contact details) is stored to generate, save, and export your CVs. You own this data at all times.
Transaction Data – For voluntary "Buy me a Coffee" contributions, Razorpay collects payment identifiers. MyJobCV does not store your card details, UPI PINs, or banking credentials.

2. Data Sharing & Google Limited Use Disclosure

We do not sell your data. We only share information with third parties (Google for login, Razorpay for payments) as strictly necessary to provide our resume builder service.

Google API Services User Data Policy – Limited Use Compliance

MyJobCV’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use your Google data for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than providing the core resume builder functionality (authentication, account linking, and retrieving basic profile info to personalize your experience). We never transfer Google user data to third parties for independent use.

Your Google profile data is only used to create and manage your MyJobCV account, and you can revoke access at any time via Google Account Permissions.

No selling or renting – We never sell your personal data, resume content, or Google-derived information.
Third-party limitation – Payment processor (Razorpay) receives only transaction confirmation; Google data never goes to Razorpay or any external analytics.

3. Purpose of Data Processing

Service Delivery – To allow you to create, edit, download, and save resumes securely.
Account Management – To provide seamless access across devices using Google authentication.
Optional Contributions – To facilitate voluntary financial support (tips) via Razorpay. This never affects core features.
No automated decision-making – Your data is never used for profiling or algorithmic scoring.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Your rights (DPDPA India) – You can request account deletion at any time. Once verified, we will permanently delete your profile and all associated resume data within 30 days.
Exceptions – Transaction records for contributions may be retained for tax/legal compliance (anonymized where possible).
Google data removal – Revoking Google access via your Google account immediately stops any new data sync; we also provide a “delete account” button inside MyJobCV.

5. Security Measures

Encryption in transit – All data transmitted between your browser and our servers uses TLS 1.2+ / HTTPS.
Secure storage – Resume data is stored in encrypted databases with access controls.
No sensitive logging – We never log plaintext passwords or Google access tokens beyond operational necessity.

6. Grievance Redressal

In accordance with the Information Technology Act 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023, the name and contact details of the Grievance Officer are provided below:
